Infrared heating works because feeling warm or cold does not depend on the temperature of the ambient air. For example, skiers and mountain climbers do not freeze even in extremely cold weather. Rather, they are bombarded by infrared rays from the sun.
We experience this effect directly on our skin and from rays reflected by the environment (water, stones, earth etc.). When an infrared wave touches a surface, its heat energy is released regardless of the ambient air temperature. This is how people on a winter sports holiday are able to sunbathe despite the low temperatures - all thanks to infrared waves.
Source Green Heat heaters work the same way.
After you leave the store, your service from lifeSMART is just beginning. Whether it’s in- or out-of-warranty service, a repair issue or any other product related question you have, our friendly technicians are here to assist you.
If your unit ever requires maintenance or parts and it is not past the store’s return time frame, you may simply return it to the store for a replacement unit or a full refund. If it is beyond the return time frame but still in the warranty period, you have two options. We can either send you the part free of charge and you can fix it yourself or you can send it to us and our technicians will make the repair and send it back to you. Proof-of-purchase is required for in-warranty repairs.
Even if your unit is beyond its warranty term, we can still assist with troubleshooting and parts for purchase, unless your specific heater model has been discontinued.
